There are a number of things you can do when you want to know how to get rid of nose blackheads. The easiest method for many is to start by taking a hot shower. When you do this, your blackheads will be softer and easier to remove. Use pore strips or any blackhead remover to pull these plugs out. If you find you don’t have time to take a shower, a warm washcloth can be substituted. Make sure you don’t get it too hot or you may burn your face.

Exfoliating the skin will also help to remove the blackheads. Blackheads are often the result of dead skin cells clogging the pores. Any dead skin cells will be removed which have collected inside the pores. These cells tend to leave the pores misshapen so they can easily get blocked. Look for an exfoliant which has at least 1% beta hyrdroxy acids (BHA). This is enough to break through the pore lining. Do this on a regular basis to not only get rid of blackheads you currently have, but prevent new ones from developing.

A blackhead extractor is a great tool to have when you want to know how to get rid of nose blackheads. To use this tool, you apply the pad of the blackhead remover to your nose while applying pressure. Peel the tool back and the blackhead should come with it. Be careful when using this tool so you don’t tear your skin and cause even more damage. Blackheads can be a thing of the past if you try the above methods and use them properly. When you do so, your skin will look better and you will have more self confidence.
